Position will install, maintain, and repair electric and electronic equipments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
High and low voltage motors tests and troubleshooting.
High voltage and low circuits breakers - tests and troubleshooting
High and low voltage circuits - Tests and troubleshooting
Electric control troubleshooting
PLC hardware troubleshooting
PLC software troubleshooting and modifications
PLC - Special controls functions - PID's
Environment gas analyzer and opacimeters troubleshooting and calibration
ESP – troubleshooting
VFD - set up and troubleshooting
Process gas analyzer troubleshooting and calibration
Piping and wiring
Pneumatic control
Hydraulic controls
Air conditioner troubleshooting
Lights and receptacles troubleshooting
Basic CNA - preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Field instrumentation - Level - Calibration and troubleshooting
Field instrumentation - Pressure - Calibration and troubleshooting
Field instrumentation - Temperature - Calibration and troubleshooting
Weight feeders - Calibration and troubleshooting
Drag line – maintenance and troubleshooting
Load out scale - calibration and troubleshooting
Quarry - PLC – Program changes, tests and troubleshooting
Shenck system - Tests, calibration and troubleshooting
Pfister system - Tests, calibration and troubleshooting
Quarry - radio communication system - tests and troubleshooting
Quarry - PLC – tests, programs changes and troubleshooting
Cement Basic Chemistry
Support programs and control tools - PI
Support programs and control tools - GP
Support programs and control tools - CAR
Support programs and control tools - Maximo
Participate in good housekeeping practices using 5 S programs
Follow all safety policies, procedures and practices.
Assist with other departmental needs as required
Must be able to provide instruction, direction and support to outside contractors for special projects or plant outages
Operate mobile equipment
Education and/or Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent preferred. Maintenance license preferred. Six years as maintenance electrician experience required.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred.
Physical Demands: Bending, stooping, reaching and lifting. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work at extreme heights.
Other: Must be willing to work rotating shift, overtime and accept call-ins after hours. Must be available to be contacted electronically during non-working hours.
